Teaching

Education

Beyond musical performance, education is my passion. I believe teaching should be a highly creative activity that enables the learner to reach their potential according to their abilities and ambitions. I also believe that learning a musical instrument should be fun. As a teacher, I develop tailored lessons to meet the needs of the learner whether they be face-to-face or online.
I have just sat my ABRSM Diploma in Teaching, am a member of the PVG scheme and, through online courses, am currently further developing my skills related to different aspects of educational psychology from working with children with autism and ADHD as well as with trauma and war survivors through positive psychiatry and wellbeing.
The instruments I teach are: oboe, flute, clarinet, saxophone and bassoon.
